Tomorrow I find out my surgery date. I do not know if this is making me more anxious or the fact I have to be on a 2 week pre-op liquid diet. Yikes! In 1999, I had colon cancer with a colon resection, radiation, and chemo. Liquid diets go right through me (almost immediately.) Brings back bad memories of all the pre-ops for a colonoscopy. Not pleasant. I will survive though as then. This will be totally worth it. Next year this time I hope to be 100 lbs lighter. I can only imagine!
