These photographs were taken on the occasion of my 35th wedding anniversary during a cruise of Hawai'i. They depict two of the beautiful beaches on the various islands. There are more cultural and ethnic groups represented in Hawai'i than any other state in the USA. A tender boat took us to shore from Kailua Bay, as our ship had to anchor at sea due to the bay being too shallow. You can see NCL "Pride of Hawaii" in the background. Kona means "Leeward" and it was one of my favorite places to visit. They are famous for their coffee beans which are grown on a narrow strip of land along mountain slopes above the scenic harbor town of Kailua, Kona.
