Hearst Castle is a palatial estate built by the newspaper magnate, William Randolph Hearst. It is located in San Simeon, California, five miles inland on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The castle has 56 bedrooms, 61 bathrooms, 19 sitting rooms, 3 guest houses, 127 acres of gardens, and the world's largest private zoo. Tours are sold to view the estate. In its heyday during the 1920's and 30's, San Simeon would host many Hollywood and political elite. The photographs are of the outdoor Neptune pool and the indoor Roman pool. I would highly recommend taking a tour of this estate.
